Printer Refuses to Print

I have a Deskjet 825C. When I try to print on an index card (3x5) the print job appears in the queue, it says "Starting job..." and then the window changes to say that the jobs have been stopped. Clicking Start Jobs doesn't do it-- after a few moments, it stops its jobs again. Printing normal-sized sheets of paper is fine, however.:mad:

Any ideas?
