Printer & Scanner for OS X

I am looking for a Printer and/or Scanner (will consider a dual device) that is reasonably cheap to run and is properly supported on Apple OS X.

I currently have a Canon i865 printer and lide80 scanner both of which can be made to work but the scanner has to run under Rosetta.

I have used both these devices under Vista and Canon have give far more options and control to the Windows drivers but have neglected the OS X ones.

So looking for devices which have full Apple support and reasonably cheap to run (ink etc).

all most all HP and Epson printers properly support OS X, just have a look on the websites.
