How can I get the Printer/Scanner Icon On The Dock ?
Dragging it from the System Preference does not work. I have read: "Start A Print Job & Clicking On The Proxy While it's open & Select; "Keep On Dock".
I tried, but I do not know what "PROXY" is.
Advise please.

In this case:

Proxy = Printer Manager = Printer/Scanner Icon

To keep in the dock:

1) Open "System Preferences"
2) Click "Printers & Scanners"
3) Double click on your printer of interest from the list. This brings up the Printer queue.
4) The printer will now be in the dock, either drag it to where you want it in the Dock or right click and choose "Keep in Dock" from the "Options" submenu.

Thank you TheIquana, I followed your directions, when I doubled clicked on the printer on the list I got "Pause & Settings". The printer did show up on the dock only to return to "Pause & Settings" when prompted.

Thank you! I followed your instructions, it worked.
