Printer Sharing Locks up my System Preferences

I have a Macbook Pro running snow leopard. I have never had any problems using the file sharing and print sharing until now. When ever I open the system preferences and go to sharing, if I click on printer sharing the preferences window locks up. I can do anything else in sharing except click on printer sharing. I can still go to the menu at the top of the window and close the system preferences.

Does anyone have an explanation at to why I can no longer click on "Printer Sharing"?
