I just got an HP Photosmart C4250 and it doesn't print with the black cartridge. Yes, it's cartridge is properly installed inside of the printer but I really have no idea what it could be.

Is there a change the cartridge that came with in the box with it might just be defective or what?

If the printer is new I would probably first try getting a new black ink cartridge. Sometimes they just dry up. If the printer has a calibrate, try that first before going and spending money on a black cartridge.

I am just going to throw this out there. Not being funny or rude or anything like that cause these things can be overlooked. Did you remove the little blue film that is on the cartridge before installing it?

Yes that was the first thing I checked b/c there was that possibility.
