Is there a list of printers compatible, or maybe a printer someone can suggest? My HP Photosmart Plus printer no longer works with Big Sur. Looking to spend $150ish but I want to make sure it is compatible with Big Sur before I buy. Any help is appreciated.

My Canon TS8351 seems to be working fine. Used it over AirPrint from my M1 mbp with no problem.

Stick with AirPrint printers and you'll be fine. I believe all of the Brother printers connect via AirPrint.

I am using Canon MF644CDW and its compatible. My brother bought 642CDW and its compatible as well. I wanted to buy 642 but it was sold out

Just found your post as I've been torturing myself over a new all-in-one having just become
a Macbook Pro person. Tons of folks out there moan about Canon and Mac interaction. You
indicate that you didn't have to go through outrageous hoops and looking to Canon Singapore
and Canon this and that to find some substitute drivers blah blah. I think I'll order the MF644CDW
right now. My needs are not many but scan and copy are impt as well as print (actually
footprint is the most impt concern!). Glad you posted and you boosted my confidence. Thanks.

Canon's scanning software is ancient, and frequently cannot connect to the scanner, which I think explains all the negative reviews on their site. However, I've had no issues printing, or connecting to Image Capture (or another app that uses Image Capture to interface with the scanner, such as PDFPen).
