Printing Custom Sizes in iPhoto

I want to print a 3.5 by 5 photo and a 3 by 3 photo, but I can not for the life of me get it to select the custom size. I made the custom size in page setup, but can not select it when i try to print. how do i do this?

I found this problem a while ago when trying to print off passport sized pictures. In short i couldn't find any way, which i think is very poor and is one of the reasons which has now lead me to use a different program instead of iPhoto.
