Printing dialog box

When I try to print a photo from my pictures folder by comand P or file>print, my printer just prints the photo without showing me a printer dialog box so I can set my options for that one photo. How can I set my printer options when printing...Please Help..Thanks

Double-click the picture to open it in Preview. Then you can File > Print and get a print dialog box.
