Printing HDV to tape using G4 powerbook

Can anyone advise me on the bestexpedient way to print a 2-hour HDV FCP sequence to tape (using Sony M25E deck) from a G4 Powerbook? Would I need to first make sequence as self-contained QT and then create a new HDV timeline, or is there a more expedient way?
