Hi all,

At my uni we can print off lecture slides to help us follow lectures, annotate better etc. Basically, I download the PDF file, open it in Preview and print. However one lecture has loads of colour slides, though the colour is not important, and black and white would be fine! How do I specify for Preview to print the slides in black and white only? Would be great to save on ink as it's so expensive!

Thanks in advance

in the dropdown printer menu select colorsync and then in the quarts composer menu select black and white.

After you have set up the printer the way you want pull down the Presets Menu and Save As B&W. That way you will easily be able to switch between Color and Black & White in the future.
