Printing name-badges

I am trying to print name-badges, using Durable Badgemaker 54 x 90 mm. badges. I have created a Group in Contacts on this MacBook Air (10.8.4). I now want to create a template for the badges, then merge the data to the template.

I have spent hours struggling with DesignPro, Labels & Addresses, &c. without success.

Any suggestions ?

I have finally sorted this using Labels & Addresses, but the experience resembled trying to pick up a cake of wet soap.
