Hi all,

The office where I work was burgled recently, and the PC I used was taken. Now I've been temporarily using my own macbook here until we get a new computer (I'm thinking mac this time round!), anyway, I've had to set the Macbook up with the existing printer network. It's a small network of two PCs into a router into the printer (which is a Konica Minolta Bizhub C250).
It was always PCs that were hooked up to this network and they printed just fine.

I managed to hook up my mac via IPP with the network and downloaded the most recent driver from the Konica Minolta website, and it is printing....but it is printing extremely slowly - in that the files that are being sent to the printer are getting there slowly, as opposed to the physical printing of pages being slow.

I don't mind so much waiting a little bit for a page or two, but the problem really is that if (for example) I send a PDF file to the printer to be printed, and tell it to print one copy, its not too bad. However if I send 30 copies to be printed, it takes 30 times longer...as if it is sending each copy as a separate 3mb file (which takes about 4mins as it is!!!)

I can't really figure it out, could it be a driver issue????

Any help is mucho appreciated!!!!

Emmet
