Hi there,
I use a Lacie d2 Network 2 as backup drive (TimeMachine). The Lacie drive has a built-in print server and I have a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint m205b connected via USB to the Lacie print server. The Lacie drive is networked via Ethernet to a wi-fi router. My macs are networked via wi-fi.
The problem I am having is: printing from OSX 10.10 over wi-fi via the print server fails. I can set up the printer (via Bonjour), and go through the process of print set up and printing, but files fail to print. The printer is being activated from the print server (i.e. wakes from sleep) but nothing prints.
How can I fix this problem? It seems to me that it is a 10.9 and 10.10 issue. Help is appreciated.
Thanks
Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

- Printing from OSX 10.10 directly via USB to the printer works perfectly.
- Printing from OSX 10.7 or 10.8 over wi-fi to the print server works perfectly.
- Printing from Win7 Bootcamp over wi-fi to the print server works perfectly.
- This problem started with the upgrade to 10.9 and has not been resolved in 10.10.
- The mac in question is a late 2012 mac mini.
