Hi all,

I'm new to the forums so forgive me if this has already been posted. I have recently been having a problem with my printer. Whenever I print any document (word, webpage, etc.), the output is a unix script and not the actual document. I currently have a MacBook pro and use a standard phaser printer. Any input and help on this matter would be great!

Thanks!
Justin

Have you installed the driver/software for the printer? Go to Print/Fax in System Preferences, select the printer, and check for what driver it's currently using.

yup. the weird thing is, i can print pdf files just fine. but disaster strikes when i attempt to print a regular word doc, or even something on a webpage
