Printing Problems (help)

I have an older printer - HP Office Jet Pro 8600

All tasks sent to printer wirelessly

My wife can print from HP Laptop with no problems

I can print from my MacBook Pro with no problems

However

Both my wife and I have problems printing from our iPhones and iPads. On numerous occasions it looks for air printer which we do not have, then suddenly it finds the HP8600 and prints the required page small (see below pic)

Can anyone please advise why and how to fix. All devices are up to date.

One thing to note is that I can print normally via my MacBook Pro and my wife can print normally with her HP Laptop - it is only the iPhones and iPads that we have problems with.

Do you know how to get to the printer's configuration webpage (try the printer's local IP address in a browser)?

See if you can change the default paper size there.
