I don't believe this is a hardware issue but I'll explain the setup.

We have two iMacs sitting next to each other and are connected with an ethernet patch cable. One with Jaguar(A) and one with Panther(B). On the other side of computer A are two printers (one laser and one ink jet). They are connected to computer A via USB hub. Now, if someone is logged into computer A they can print to either printer, no problem. If that person remains logged in a person on computer B can also print to either printer, no problem. But, if a second person logs into computer A at the same time (and the first remains logged in) problems start showing up. If a person on computer B tries to print nothing happens. If one of the people on computer A tries to print to the laser printer all that is printed is code (nothing I understand). This remains the case until both users sign out, not just one. Both have to sign out, and when one signs back in all is fine. So, what is wrong here and how do I fix it? The only other thing I notice is that computer B cannot print if there is nobody logged in on computer A butI imagine that is the way it is supposed to be.
