OK, having a bit of a problem. I'm at my folks' place now and can't find the shared printer on their main desktop. It's definitely shared and the other Windows laptops can print to it.
I used to be able to print but since Dad changed something I can no longer see the shared printer despite the other laptops having no problems. I'm loathe to change anything on the desktop as Windows and I have never got along and Ma and Pa are pretty techno-illiterate.
Anybody know the best way to find shared printers on a Windows network? When I look for them using the Printer setup utility all I can see on the desktop is a generic Adobe post-script printer (the kind that acrobat uses) but not the Epson one I'm looking for. I've checked his printers and it is definitely shared.
How can I find this printer?
