Hello,

I have just recently bought the canon MP610 for my imac. I found when priniting photoshop cs3 images that the colours were not the same as those on the screen. Can anyone give any advice on how to get the same colours? What are the best settings to choose? And do I need to download the canon MP610 profile?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
DanishOz

Ideally the monitor / screen should be calibrated using something like Spyder 2 Pro. I'm afraid you will never get the iMac screen and the finished print to be exactly the same, but you should be able to come reasonably close. It really depends on how seriously you take your printed output, but you may also consider some form of calibration for the printer. Always use the latest colour profile as well.
