printtool message won't go away

I keep getting a message on my wife profile on my iMac
"printtool is trying to modify the printer settings. Type the name and password of a user in the "print administrators" group to allow this"
under that message is asls for the username and password so I enter my (admin) username and password and it goes away.......untill next time she logs into her profile and it appears again.
I can't find anything to do with 'printed" or print administrators to make this go away.
any suggestions?

I get the same message. I also have an HP Printer that the scanning software does not work (it claims permission problems often but not always)
