(Not sure if this should be in accessories or here -- sorry).
Has anyone purchased and used a privacy filter for their Aluminum Macbook 13.3" (or larger I guess)? I used to use a 3M filter with my Lenovo which worked great. With the bezel on that machine wasn't flat like my MB so it closed easily with the filter on all of the time. The MB bezel is pretty flat and seamless and I'm wondering if it restricts the closing at all.

I travel a lot and really believe in these things -- you should see the stuff I've watched people write on planes. But also, this LED screen is so bright on a long over night flight that even 1 bar will burn your eyeballs... so the privacy filter should help with that.

Some questions for you:

- Which brand did you purchase?

- How well does it work?

- Does it restrict the closing of the lid in any way?

- Can you post pictures with the tabs on the side of the screen that hold it in?

Thanks!

I think the viewing angle is the privacy filter.

+1 quoted for truth.

All you have to do is adjust the vertical viewing angle and nobody beside you will be able to see anything on your screen. No filter required.

Unfortunately, not even close. Maybe for the person next to you but certainly not for over and behind by one. Plus, it acts as a dimmer on the overnight flight to Asia.

No one uses these for business?
