I have played Free Cell by Mobilityware for years. It was a free app I got years ago. I enjoy playing on the ride home on the bus. The last time I updated it I was asked to accept the Privacy Policy and some other things. I started to read the policy and it was a maze of legalize that was hard to follow. I said to myself I just want to play a game, what the hell do I have to agree to. I would be willing to pay for this app but I do not know what is going on. I finally gave up and deleted it. Wonder if other have found this happening.

You're not wrong. Having to sign up to thousands - even tens of thousands - of words of jargon is unfortunately par for the course for all kinds of software, services, and even websites. I appreciate the approach that The Verge takes to reviews, with an 'Agree to Continue' box highlighting all the things you must sign up to in order to use the product.

We can grumble about it, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
