I am selling a few old items I no longer use and was wondering if I needed to bother with plugging them back in, and making sure all my information was off of them, or if it was a waste of time.

The items in question are :

Vonage Phone set with 2 receivers and answering machine. (Only info is maybe address book with stored phone numbers)

Linksys WRT54G wireless router (Info would be obvious networking information)

Thanks!

Well the votage phone I would plug it in and earse the phone book on it. You do not want some random person calling your friends and family by mistake.

The router you do not need ot because they will have to reset it any how to even get into it and change things. But I would just reset it to be nice to the person. It does not take long to do it.
