What exactly is that folder? It's about 5gb and I don't know what it is. I wanna delete it if possible? Also can I delete apps like garage band and associated files like the "learn to play" video which alone is 611mb

That is where a number of very important system files are located and deleting it like the previous poster suggested will harm your system.
