Private Tabbed browsing quicker

I’m getting this on iOS too, but if I do Private Browsing it’s always quicker than non Private. Have I missed a setting somewhere? Happens across all my machines (mini’s, MBP and MacPro) and all iPhones and iPads. Any ideas?

In Private browsing you share less (or nothing at all) with third-parties (like, cookies, tracking stuff, etc). That's why, perhaps, the browser loads everything faster (less traffic and less parties involved).
