I'm trying to delete a network location, but the error message says I don't have "sufficient privileges". I am the only user of this G4, and there is no password protection. What to do?

Please don't put that thing on the internet. Ever. Thanks.

Are you an admin user? Are you just trying to drag it to the trash? Where are you deleteing this from?

I'm using a WPA encrypted wireless router and the OS X firewall. I assume (from my XP experience) that I'm the adminstrator as there are no other users. I do have a password to allow changes (download, install, etc.) Sorry about the misinfo on that.

I went to the Directory Access app, logged in, and deleted the SMB location. That got rid of the item in Network that I was trying to drag to the trash.

I've followed the Networking instructions found here at the forum, but am still unable to get my G4 to recognize my XP to allow file transfers. The Workgroup MSHOME will not appear in the Network sidebar or on my desktop. Is there something else to do?
