All Pro Apps have just had updates released providing Leopard support and better 8-core optimization. I'm feeling this Tuesday!

Yeah, makes sense to me... why put so much effort into new releases of pro apps without the same in the pro hardware? The release dates of the pro apps have been random enough, hopefully that of the Mac Pro will be too and not MacWorld! :)

Oh boy, here we go again. I've officially given up on new Mac Pros until Q1 of next year. I really hope you're right and we get some soon (like next week).

The pro apps were updated because many of them (like Compressor) had major issues and wouldn't run properly. I don't take it as a sign of new Pros coming right around the corner.

Let the cup be half full my friend, half FULL. ;)

Yea, I have pretty much given up too and think it will still be Q1 next year. I've waited since June, I can wait 1 1/2 more months. lol If we keep thinking it will be next week and the week after and so on, it will be here quicker. :)

Perhaps, but maybe they were waiting one extra week before releasing so that the Pro apps were ready and stable.

Would be pretty impressive if they did update it Tuesday. It just seems strange that Apple would update it at MWSF along side a more hyped up "ultra-thin portable."

We have been talking about this ultra-portable for years... What makes us so sure it will come at mwsf?

I'm telling ya, all these updates mean something. ;)

At this point I am expecting MacWorld, but you never know. Apple could fool us all.

Yeah I have shifted my focus to Macworld. Gonna enjoy the next few months and not think about it too much. Hopefully it just happens! :D

SO are you waiting it out?

You have to show something before you can show "one more thing". ;)

If they stick with a "portable" theme, they could show Penryn in the Macbook Pro before hand. Then Steve can talk about the iPhone again randomly, then debut the new guy. lol

Grr... both of you.... man...

Your posts shattered my hopes for a Tuesday release.

(still going to be checking the boards monday and tuesday tho) :D

I have added a Calendar date to my iPhone for January 15th. I suggest a lot of you do the same ;)

I doubt Apple will release anything on Thankgiving week. It just does not make sense from a media perspective as most people will be on the road travelling.

After Thanksgiving maybe, unless Apple already have the stocks sitting in warehouses ready to go on sale on Black Friday. Still for holiday season, I see iMacs, Macbooks, Mac Minis as the hot items vs. Mac Pros, MBP etc. in terms of computer products. :apple:

I cannot wait for the new Mac Pros myself :)
