Pro black screen

Hiya,

Today, after using my Pro, i close teh lid as i always do, but when i reopen, all i had is a black screen, keyboard not responding, usb, firewire etc no power.

when i press the start button, i can hear the hard drive spining as normal, but that it.
The little light at the front is dim,

its a macboopro 2.2GHz, Core 2 duo/4GB/ 128mb VRAM/120GB EMCNo : 2136

i have try few things that i found online, but nothing is working, so far

any help welcome

As you didn't state, what you already tried, have you tried any of these steps?

Mac doesn't boot

Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck

hi, thanks for reply,

thats what i've try so far, the battery is charging, can hear the laptop starting and running, but no chime, lights or anyhing, just black, but no response from keyboard.

if you ran out of battery, give it time to recover on thecharger.
