Hi,

I moved from a 30" ACD to Pro Display XRD and have some legacy products like Bose Companion 5 and a Razor Mouse. I want to connect them to the screen so I can keep my USB-C ports open of my MacBook.

Does anyone know if a USB-C hub is a good option to connect these devices? Music should be streamed from MB TB3 > Display T3 > Display USB-C . If so, what kind of USB-C hub would you recommend?

Thanks in advance

The cheapest USB-C hub you can find
- one that doesn't have video because the USB-C ports of the XDR display do not have video.
- one that doesn't have USB 3.0 because the XDR supports USB 3.0 speed when connected to a W5700 MPX module (which doesn't exist yet) or a MacBook Pro 16 inch.
- one that doesn't have USB-C ports - because you can just use the USB-C ports of the XDR.

A USB-C hub may be preferable compare to a USB-A hub because USB-C provides more power than USB-A so the USB-C hub probably won't require external power.
