Hi all,

I have a Pro Display XDR, and with the Macbook Pro 2021 of course it works perfect.

But i also want to use it with my desktop, that has a RX5700. I ordered the Wacom Link Plus because the Belkin VR cable is only available through Aliexpress.

Now the display works fine, in Windows i can even enable HDR only thing is bootcamp assistant does not see the display. Also in Mac OS the presets, HDR mode and brightness controls are missing.

Did somebody manage to get it to work with the Wacom? Or only the Belkin?

Thanks!

Do any of the USB devices of the XDR appear in the USB tab of System Information.app? Can you see USB devices connected to the USB ports of the XDR? There needs to be a USB connection to the XDR. Do you have the USB 2.0 of the Wacom Link Plus connected to the Mac? If it's connected to the XDR then you have a circular USB connection which is incorrect.

Alright, seems that i'm a idiot ?‍♂️

I had the power connected through the PC as well, now that i connected it to a USB-C power adapter it works perfect.
So for anybody still in need of a good solution, but the Belkin cable is not available this works perfect!

I think power from the PC should also work. If it's turned on.
There's a USB-C input connector on the Wacom Link Plus for power (this is on the opposite side from the USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output).
There's a micro USB connector on the Wacom Link Plus for USB 2.0 data.
I think people have said they got it to work without a connection to the USB-C power input connector.
