It seems the only differences in features between the 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max are the screen size and the battery capability. Is this true? I need to know before I decide. Thanks.

Anything major that would distinguish either of them would have been displayed already like the different cameras in the 12P and 12PM.

I had the same question as well, and decided to downsize this year to the 13P because they’re essentially the same besides screen/ battery.

The regular sized pro (not max) this year has all the same features as the big one (for once).
Big one has bigger screen and bigger battery for longer run time.

This is one area where I wish Apple would be more consistent on. It's always been hit or miss as to whether the smaller (Pro or non-Plus) models have feature parity with the larger (Pro or Plus) models. I would honestly prefer it if they were ALWAYS the same or if the larger size ALWAYS had a marginally better camera system.

Indeed...

This is why I didn't upgrade from the 11 pro to the 12 pro. My tiny mind could not purchase a "pro" phone that didn't have all the features an iPhone could have. I feel that was a mistake Apple corrected with the 13 Pro.
