Prob with YouTube app in unused iPad 3

I didn't use my iPad 3 for about 6 weeks (I moved into a new apartment that didn't have an internet connection), and now I'm having a problem with said app. It just keeps saying "Error loading. Tap to retry." Please help. Many thanks!!

I get this all the time when my wifi signal is weak. I have no idea how to fix except closing the app completely and making sure the signal is in good shape.
