Hi all

I tried to record a lecture at my university with Garageband on my iBook with the build in mic.

Everything went well its 1h45 minutes in lenght and takes 1,2 GB hdd space.

I wanted to export it with
share>export as podcast
garageband beings with "Creating Mixdown" works about 40 minutes and seems to finish.

It creats a 4kb file bute when I want to open it with iTunes it has no sound in it.

How can I get it down properly?
Is there a better software solution? (best would be freeware)
Ah yeah if you need it:
iBook G4 1,33 GHz
512MB Ram

Please help me, i want to have smaller files that i can work listen again without opening garageband all the time :-/
