I have had an Iphone 4 for about 2 years now. Mail can no longer retrive my email. I have not had a problem until about 8:00 last night. That is the last time it retreived mail. I get a message that the mail server can not be accessed at this time. No settings have changed. My software is up to date IOS 6.1.2. I have tried to power the phone off and then back on and that did not help. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

this has happened to me a couple times before as well. Once it just corrected itself within a few days (when i used to not use email as much). The other time i removed my email from my phone and reentered the information completely in settings. Hope this helps!
Of course it could be a problem with your email provider themselves. They could be having a little downtime. You can get the same error from that.
