First time poster and have looked most places for advice but can't seem to find exactly what i'm after.
I have a 8gb Iphone 3g which was unlocked and jailbroken. I've since got a new Iphone4 and have decided to restore my old Iphone to it's original settings (to give it to my other half) as the jailbreak software could at times error.
Using Itunes I did a restore but now the phone doesn't seem to be doing anything. The Apple logo comes up on the screen with the little circle going around just on/under the apple logo.
It will eventually turn off on it's own, I can turn it back on and it does the same as described above. I can also turn it off using the on/off button and cancel button but again once I put it back on it goes through the above process.
It also tells me that the battery is low with the battery/lightening symbol but other than that it doesn't go any further.
Is there anything I can do to make it work. It won't recognise it in Itunes either now. Wish I kept it as it was now, it worked fine!!!
