am an ULTRA newbie with a nice new MacBook. Am struggling to teach myself making movies from my videos taken of our sale horses.
have figured all the basics EXCEPT...
Trying to add music to the final edited movie before downloading to IDVD for burning.
Did all the steps in 'help'....put the playhead marker at the beginning of the movie, clicked on 'media', clicked on 'audio', chose a song (Daydream) and then clicked
'apply to playhead'...fine..the bar filled in below all my clips with 'daydream' and so it was downloaded.....but when I play the movie back there is no sound. nothing. I can 'preview' the music by clicking on the button in the media menu, but nothing comes thru on the movie...what am I doing wrong?
I even tested it by saving it, inserting it to the IDVD theme I wanted, applied the same song to the theme on IDVD, but when I checked the movie by clicking on it in the preview of the IDVD project, again, the music had NOT been applied to my movie..sorry to be so stupid, but am having to learn this by myself at age 53....too old to learn quick! thanks!
