Hello all! I recently bought a 27" imac and love it so far. I tried to burn some pictures to a CD for a friend. The burn went fine but when she got the cd, she could not open the pictures on her computer. She has a PC. Does this make a difference? I tried searching but I couldn't find this topic covered. (Maybe I didn't look hard enough?)

Any help would be appreciated!

There is no way to answer your question without even a hint about what you did. To create a CD of pictures that is viewable on a Windows PC:
  1. Insert blank CD. It will mount on the Desktop.
  2. Drag or copy pictures to the CD.
  3. When done, drag CD toward the Trash. The Trash Can icon changes to a burn icon. Drag it all the way to the burn icon.
When done, the resulting CD is viewable by other Macs and Windows PCs. No special precautions are required.

Or:

-Drag or export the photos to a folder on the desktop
-Click of the folder one time to select it
-In the Finder's File menu, select "Burn The...(name of the folder)... CD"
-Insert a black CD in the drive, and then burn

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm gonna try them out and see what happens.
