Currently I have a MacBook pro 15" and found myself working more from home doing projects and this 15" has it's limits.

My situation is should I upgrade to a new iMac and add a 2nd display?

J have the budget for it but the MacBook pro works perfect so I'm thinking more of getting a high quality display

I see the mac displays but I have older MacBook pro so they would not work so on looking at a dell monitors

What would people recommend? I'm thinking a 22" would suit to do Photoshop work and use it to watch movies

thanks in advance?

P.s what people think of the g drives ?

If the MBP is working fine, and you just need a bigger screen, then just buy a bigger screen. I wouldn't bother with anything less than a 1920x1080 resolution, regardless of size.

My budget is widely open obvious not too extreme so around 500wuro maxi guess but flexible.

Dell U2410, refurb. ACD. Are you doing photo/video work and in need of extremely accurate color? If not, I like my ASUS VW246h.

I'm doing plenty photo and graphic work so high color is important

In that case...get the new NEC PA241W ($1070)...or the model it replaced, the NEC 2690 ($980) from B&H Video. I'm getting a PA241W...if I can find one in stock!

Too much money? Then a Dell U2410, with hardware calibration(!!!!) would be the next best.
