Problem changing passwords on Orbi CBR40

Need to change network password and gateway password on my Orbi. Followed instructions on Netgear website multiple times but they don't work. Even asked me 2 security Q's including name of older brother which I don't even have. (I never was asked to provide security answers when I set up the Orbi).

I called for technical support and was told I have to buy a support plan. So I went to Chat and the employee asked permission to have access to my entire computer. Said this was my only option. I refused.

Does anyone know how to simply change these passwords? "Forgot password" option takes me a site which only provides instructions, which I followed but it does not take me to any where I can input a new password!

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the Orbi system (I have a Linksys Velop).

But... if nothing else seems to be working...

I'd do a "hard reset" of the router and start over from the beginning.

What are you using to access it?
Smartphone?
Tablet?
Or... through the web interface?

There's also an online Orbi support group, I think.
You could try asking there.
