I'm not a fan of the default Mojave login picture so I want to change it. I looked up how to do it and it's not working for me. When I'm done I restart and the login picture is just a solid black background.

What I did was choose a 4K picture (the monitor is a 4K monitor) and rename it Mojave.heic.

Go to folder and type in /Library/Desktop Pictures/

Rename the original login wallpaper to Original Mojave.heic

Drag the new Mojave.heic wallpaper into the folder.

Restart and instead of seeing the new wallpaper as the login picture I just get a black background.

What am I doing wrong?
