Problem connecting at .ac with Time Capsule/MBA

Past few days I've been experiencing my MBA connecting on the 2.4 ghz band at a transmit rate of 145 after waking up. To connect at the normal 867 on the 5.0 band I have to turn Wi-Fi off and on and sometimes reboot.

The laptop is about 8 feet from the router. Any idea? I've had both for several months now, with no previous problems connecting at full speed.
 
The best advice I can give you is to assign 5GHz WLAN a different SSID, so your MBA will explicitly seek to connect to 5GHz network, even after waking from sleep.
