I'm looking for help with the following problem:
When I watch Netflix.com fullscreen with Safari (8.0.4) on OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), every time a subtitle appears, the contrast/black levels change. It's like my screen gets a little brighter for 2 seconds.
The same happens when I move my mouse and the playback controls appear. The screen returns to normal black levels when the playback controls or the subtitles disappear again.
I don't have this problem when I watch the movie windowed in Safari. I don't have this problem at all with Google Chrome (windowed nor fullscreen).
I looked around on the internet, but I didn't find many similar stories. This one here describes the same problem, but when watching movies fullscreen with iTunes: Apple Support Communities - Black levels / contrast change with subtitles
Does somebody know how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
