Problem creating a new folder.

I would like to add a new folder on the Dock. I just downloaded 3 games from the app store and the went into Launchpad. In launchpad i created and named a new folder and dragged all 3 games into that folder.I dragged the folder onto the Dock.BTW: every time i dragged an app into the new folder it said it wanted a password???.OK Now the folder is on the doc and when i open it to access a game the game opens without a Red close option.The only option i have is to minamize.When i minimize it puts 2 new icons on the Doc.It will not go back into the folder. I made 3 other folders with no problem,what am i doing wrong?

When you download the games, double click to unlock, and place in a folder and place the folder in Application > Games. Then drag a copy of the folder to th Dock. The Dock icons are merely aliases or shortcuts, not the actual programs.
