Tomato Torrent, BitTorrent AND Transmission are not downloading torrents.

I've tried them all on many different files and NOT ONE SINGLE TORRENT FILE is working on ANY of the programs.

Tomato says:

"Last Error: Tracker announce still not complete 180 seconds after starting it, (at Mon Sep 14 '09 @ 10:12:24 PM)"

OR

"Last Error: Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (60, 'Operation timed out')>, (at Mon Sep 14 '09 @ 10:13:09 PM)"

There seems to be a problem with connecting to tracker, however I have been using Tomato for months and it has worked perfectly in the past...

Thanks if you can help!

Are you downloading the torrents from the pirate bay? If you are the pirate bay tracker has been taken offline (some say forever). Other torrent sites are still working obviously as they do not use their tracker.

Yep, TPB...however people keep saying theyre downloaded from there today and it worked.
Do i just have to download from another site?
Do you know any particular ones that will work for me?
Thanks :)

it hasn't worked for me for about 2 weeks.

I use number 5 on the list but there are literally hundreds to choose from.

I use transmission, tried most of the popular ones and found that I prefer the small footprint and lack of resources that it uses. Tomato is ok too. Steer clear of Vuze (or whatever they are calling it now) it uses to much RAM and the interface is horrible in my opinion.

utorrent also has a mac client. lightweight and it does what i need it to do
whenever i started up transmission my internet would always go down for three or four minutes. had no clue why until i stopped using transmission.
yeah and hop off the piratebay that ship is sinking

thats exactly the problem, its not giving results! :(

although for some people it is, so if it does work for you, then it it the best host by farrr!!
wish it worked for moi!
