Problem ejecting Hard drive windows 7

I have a Seagate Goflex Desk drive which I have formatted to NTFS with one partition as HFS, so I can download on my PC and use as a backup for Time Machine on my Mac. I never have any problems ejecting on my Mac, but whenever I eject on the PC via windows 7, it says it's ok to unplug the drive, but usually the drive mounts again within 5 to 10 seconds. I started to unplug the drive as soon as it says it's ok to do so before it gets a chance to mount again, but this seems to cause many weird errors when I use it on my Mac, like when I delete something or move it to another folder, it says something with that name is already there. Then I'll go to Disk Utility to repair the drive, and it's ok once again. I know this is a Mac forum but just curious if anyone else has had problems ejecting drives on PC's
