I have an iMac with High Sierra 10,13.1, up until the OS Update to High Sierra everything was great. I use Contacts for my Customer Database and iMessage to communicate with customers via text message so its important that I take a Mobile Number when entering a new customers details.
The problem is, now when entering a new Customers Mobile Number another customers card popps up after I have entered the first few numbers which is embarassing and inconvenient to say the least.
I can open Contacts by pressing and holding Shift and that will allow me to enter One new contact but after that I have the same problem with another customers card popping up when trying to enter a new customers number.
I have turned off 'Show contacts found in Siri and other apps' which didnt help.
I have a Macbook, an iPhone and a couple of iPads which all share my Customers details so I was wondering if the problem could be caused by another device? Im out of idea's now hence my post here.
