Problem Everytime I Open Itunes

Everytime i open up itunes. iTunes resets itself and the setup window comes up. Saying welcome to itunes. The itunes setup assistant. I dont know why it keeps reseting itself. And also it will not keep my iphone backup. Some help ASAP would be greatly appreciated

Is it REALLY resetting? Are you sure it's not just the welcome screen? You can make this go away by unchecking the box in the lower left corner that says "Show this Window when you open iTunes."
Try that.
