Problem exporting videos from iphoto

I have been trying to export a video from iphoto (9.6.1) by doing the following: File - Export - select file - in pop-up menu select "Original" from Kind field - select where I want it saved - ok. Sadly when the file exports it only takes 1 second, not the whole 1.02 minutes. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Haven't used iPhoto for a while, but I think when you do that you end up with a jpeg. Just drag and drop your video from iPhoto to Finder.
