I have a set of odd problems on my iMac running the latest OSX

1) When I type in my Apple password to enter the iTunes store, I am told I have typed in the wrong password. When I type in the same password on my 11" MacAir running OSX, there is no problem. Ditto with typing in passwords in other forms.

2) I can't change information in the pull down daily information schedule (top right of the screen) -for example, adding another stock name to the stocks widget. I click the "Add" button but no window opens up to choose an additional stock. When I perform the same task on my 11" MacAir, I can add another stock with no problem.

Thanks for any ideas about the source of the problem.

Shutdown/Reboot- happens to me sometimes too. Also, once in a while I have to log out of iCloud and then back in again.

One or the other should work.
