problem importing into imovie 09

after importing into imovie 09 for a few weeks ,my imac suddenly informed me that there were nothing to import,
after trying many things to no avail i tried another s.d card whereupon it worked as it should, if you are having trouble importing into imovie i suggest you try this as a solution to the problem
