Problem importing old iTunes library

I copied the "iTunes" folder on to an external drive and then wiped my boot drive and installed leopard (wanted to get rid of a bunch of junk) but now I can't seem to figure out how to import this old library. I changed the location for the music library under the "advanced" tab in the preferences but no music or movies appear in iTunes. However when I import a new song it does seem to add it to the correct folder. Any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind....just needed to import the XML file.
